I am using this website as a way of sharing articles, media and other noteworthy bits I have come across.  Some of it’s good, some of it’s awesome.  Either way, it’s all meant to influence positive change through simple gratitude – agami.

Agami (uh-gah-mee)

Our actions affect not only ourselves but also those people, places and things with which we interact at each moment – family, friends, significant others, colleagues, strangers…our homes, offices, neighborhoods, communities…mother nature . We all have various sides of our lives ranging from personal to business to spiritual.  As such, it should be our intention to cause a positive effect for all sides through positive, daily interactions.

Most of us have heard of “Karma”. Although Karma is complicated and made up of various portions, Buddhism simply (well, somewhat simply…) teaches that Karma is the total effect of a person’s actions and conduct during his or her life. Any kind of intentional action whether mental, verbal or physical, is regarded as Karma. Agami specifically is the positive or negative Karma created during our present lifetime that carries over.

Agami is a metaphor for what we can all hope to be: a force for positive, lasting change that spreads outward and forward to future generations.
